Waste-to-Energy and Waste-Processing Facilities
Tire shredding, pyrolysis, biomass, and waste-processing facilities store large quantities of combustible feedstock and run processes that the prescriptive code addresses only in pieces. The fire marshal often has no precedent in the jurisdiction, and the applicant has no code path to point to.
IgnitionTech builds that path: classifies the storage under the 2021 International Fire Code (IFC) Chapter 32 and §3405 for tires, evaluates the process hazards, and where the prescriptive code does not fit, prepares the performance-based analysis that gives the AHJ a basis to approve.
