Hazardous Materials Consulting
A facility crosses from a Group S or Group F occupancy into Group H the moment one control area holds more than the maximum allowable quantity of a hazard class. Many operators find that out from the fire marshal after the lease is signed and the product is on the floor.
IgnitionTech inventories the materials, classifies each one against Chapter 50 of the 2021 International Fire Code (IFC), and writes the Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement and Hazardous Materials Management Plan the jurisdiction requires. When a Group H occupancy cannot be avoided, the firm lays out the control areas, separations, and containment so the building can be permitted as it is used.
